The wide 5/8-18 thread fits hole saws from 1-1/4-inch on up. The Milwaukee hole saw arbor fits the 49-56-8005 and 49-56-8002 pilot bits, in addition to the included 49-56-8000. Mark the exact center of your large hole, and fit the bit into your saw; when you use a wood or metal hole saw, it stays centered to give you an accurate cut. Use this in conjunction with door handle and lock kits or on other projects to ensure a precise fit.
